About...

I am mostly inspired by the beauty of the wildlife and landscapes of the southeast.  I hope to create work that feels original and versatile.  My aim is to produce paintings with a quiet, tranquil atmosphere using gentle light.  Capturing the essence of birds and other animals we are familiar with is foremost.   Wildlife paintings are given a more contemporary feel by placing them in a portrait like setting.

After several years as a successful decorative artist in Atlanta and the southeastern United States, my focus has become fine art.  I am currently working in acrylic and mixed media on canvas and paper.  The joy of gathering inspiration, working in my studio and developing as an artist continue to give me enormous satisfaction.
